Financial Controller (English, Polish)

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in Polish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to communicate in English and Polish fluently to collaborate with international and local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Professional Qualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
Understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and related international accounting standards.
Excellent collaborative style, business acumen, and ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels.

The Google International Controllership team's mission is to keep Google safe, legal and operating in each jurisdiction in which the company operates. In this role, you know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You will be responsible for the statutory financial and tax filings required by law, and you will also manage and enhance the financial control environment.

Responsibilities
Manage the statutory compliance of a portfolio of companies within the Central and Eastern Europe region. Responsible for the statutory financial and tax filings required by law, and you will also manage and enhance the financial control environment.
Guide the business to mitigate risk, support high quality decision-making and help build the financial infrastructure to scale in support of the business.
Perform regular in-depth analysis on the financials, ensuring the integrity and financial accuracy of our books and records.
Manage the delivery of accounting processes performed by external vendors ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided.
Represent International Controllership with our key business partners through effective communication across a broad network of stakeholders.
