Role Overview:


As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for executing our Application Modernization go-to-market strategy. In this position, you will actively seek new opportunities and use direct sales techniques to identify, prospect and secure business with large enterprise customers.

You will join Grape Up’s sales team and collaborate to win new business using the most sophisticated and top-class enterprise selling techniques. Your primary focus will be supporting our customers in achieving their legacy modernization objectives powered by Generative AI.



Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with large enterprise customers within the Financial Services industry
  • Co-develop Grape Up’s offerings for the Financial Services market
  • Continuously acquire market intelligence to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations
  • Present and promote Grape Up offerings to prospective customers
  • Lead and coordinate proposal preparations with support from pre-sales and engineering teams
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts to upsell and expand business
  • Support various marketing activities



Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in selling software or software services especially within Financial Services market (including Banking, Insurance or Real Estate)
  • Understanding of customer’s products, industry best practices, and how software solutions support clients’ business goals
  • Proven track record of successful software services selling to large enterprises
  • Fluency in English (C1+) both written and spoken
  • Good understanding of the software market as well as BFSI IT software architecture
  • Ability to establish contacts easily and build relationships with customers
  • Results-oriented with strong perseverance
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on delivering value
  • Fast learning skills and eagerness to drive change by taking the initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel abroad for meetings and conferences
