Operations Manager / Junior Chief-of-Staff
The Opportunity We are helping an active investor hire a smart, gritty, high-agency individual to serve as their right hand. This role is not about how many years of experience you have on your CV; it is about your mindset.
We are looking for someone who wants to compress the learning curve and gaining 10 years of business experience in 1 year.
Important: This is for Night Owls This role is designed to align with US time zones/late working hours.
Your core hours will be roughly 2 PM – 10 PM Polish time.
Occasionally, this may stretch later depending on deal flow.
If you do your best work in the evening and hate 8:00 AM meetings, this is for you.
What You Will Do You will work directly with an investor executing 5–10 investments and acquisitions per year. You will have full proximity to high-level decisions, negotiations, advisors, and CEOs.
This is a zero-ego role. You must be comfortable toggling between high-level strategy and low-level execution instantly.
The Grunt Work: Handling logistics, scheduling, chasing signatures, and even running personal errands to clear the investor’s plate.
The High-Level Work: Sitting in on meetings with CEOs, preparing deal memos, running due diligence follow-ups, and witnessing how deals actually get done.
Who You Are
Reliable & Gritty: You get things done. You don’t need to be micro-managed.
Smart Generalist: You figure things out fast.
Low Ego: You understand that to earn the seat at the negotiation table, you also need to handle the logistics that get us there.
Background: Experience in Investment Banking, Big4, Consulting, or Advisory is a plus, but mindset matters more.
Why This Is Interesting
A Real-World MBA: You will learn more about investing, operations, and M&A in one year here than in five years of business school.
Access: You are in the room where decisions happen.
Growth: The scope of this role grows with trust, not with your job title.
