Compensation Accountant

About the role:

Member Compensation Accounting (MCA) team supports the process of distributor’s earnings in day-to-day activities for countries in GBS scope. Accountant ensures that invoices are posted, and outgoing payments send daily are completed in a timely manner to minimize a risk of wire transfers failure and query resolution. MCA Accountant is obliged to follow controls and procedures of Member Compensation Accounting process. Person in charge additionally covers activities related to bank account and liability reconciliation, preparation, and processing of relevant journal entries, booking manual invoices, credit memos and contact Member Services team in EMEA region. MCA Accountant demonstrates proactive approach in resolution of unpaid distributor’s earnings.




In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for meeting the defined SLAs, KPI reporting
  • Active participation in projects, improvements and standardization process
  • Delivering consistent quality across Herbalife businesses, functions and regions
  • Active communication with Member Services teams to ensure smooth process of payments to distributors
  • Compliance with financial policies and procedures, particularly in relation to pay distributors’ earnings and invoice processing
  • Ensure all areas of work comply with the relevant SOX rules
  • Daily payment processing
  • Daily control of payment released in prior day process returned payments in Oracle, AP module
  • Reconciliation of Royalty bank accounts related countries in scope
  • Relevant journal entries preparation and processing
  • Manual Invoices, Credit Memos processing and pay processing payments form exception list
  • 3 years-old payments write-offs processing
  • Follow up with Member Services team returned and rejected payments to reprocess these
  • Research payment discrepancies
  • Follow up on the issues related to distributor’s earnings in EMEA in a proactive manner
  • Month End Close activities bank accounts reconciliation
  • Liability account reconciliation
  • Preparing status updates




Our requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant working experience in accounts payable, payment (or related) functions
  • High education in accounting/finance or/and other related fiels
  • High customer service skills - emails and calls handling
  • Strong analytical, process improvement and conceptual mindset
  • MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge
  • Experience of Excel to at least intermediate level
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Customer focused individual
  • Excellent communication skills Excellent communication skillsExcellent communication skills
  • Very good command of English
  • Experience with SSC or Outsourcing environment is very welcome
