Students Coordinator

Mate academy is an EdTech startup and we’re searching for the first Students Coordinator in Poland. You’ll be the one, who helps thousands of people to learn and get their first job in IT.

Students train for free until they get a job in tech. Then they pay a percentage from their salary (Income sharing agreement model). More than 2000 of our graduates are already placed with a 90% success rate🤘 

We are looking for:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize;
• Experience in project management
• Understanding of the IT market and basic knowledge of technologies, tools, and approaches;
• Strong ownership skills and ability to deeply control every student in groups of 20-30 people;
• Be proactive in decision making and proposing ways for employment juniors;
• English - intermediate and higher.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in project management;
• Desire to learn how technologies work ‘under the hood’ and pass our basic courses (HTML/CSS, JS, SQL, Java, etc.)

Your daily adventures will include:

• Interview candidates who want to become our students;
• Work with our coaches and mentors on effective teaching process;
• Manage classes attendance and homework performance by students;
• Be empathic and motivate students when they need it;
• Help students create competitive CVs and cover letters after they finish courses;
• Support students during their employment process (control their application to vacancies, advise on passing the recruitment process);
• Monitor IT marker (amount of vacancies for direction, job boards updates, etc.);
• Recruit part-time mentors for different directions;
• Work with CRM system.
