Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Supervise financial information and reporting accuracy in Corporate Controlling
• Engage with Global Stakeholders
• Actively participate in forecasting and budgeting processes
• Provide diverse analyses of actual results vs. budget/forecast
• Support data preparation for company executives
• Manage period-end closings, including accruals and deferrals
• Improve finance and controlling processes for enhanced efficiency
• Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders, ensuring proper financial data delivery
• Daily collaboration with counterparts in Germany
• Contribute to various international projects
• Managing proper data workflows inc. data uploading to different systems
• Detailed cost center reporting
• Analyze variances Act vs. Plan, clarify with responsible parties, and conduct regular status meetings
• Responsible for quality gatekeeping of financials, headcount reporting, and project charging
• Actively participate in the planning process
• Business partnering with IT leads

Requirements:

• University degree in finance/economics/accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling/audit/accounting
• Proficiency in English; German is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of IFRS regulations is a plus
• Superb MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
• Proactive and flexible personality
• Team player with matrix organization experience
• Strong prioritization and work organization skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Very strong analytical and logical skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to draw appropriate conclusions and identify inconsistencies
• Willingness and ability to travel, including possible international trips, as an essential job requirement
• Proficiency in the use of Excel
