Role Description:
We are pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for the position of Senior GL Accountant in our Client's Company (automotive sector) based in Kraków. Joining their team means taking on a pivotal role in financial operations, contributing to the enhancement of accounting practices, and supporting the company's growth. The key responsibilities of this role include:

Enhance Team Competency: Elevate the company’s maturity by sharing insights on VLS complexity and specifics with team members and other functions.

Process Coordination: Lead the process of posting invoices and other essential documents.

Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and post documents adhering to current regulations, determining VAT and CIT obligations.

Account Analysis and Reconciliation: Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of accounting accounts for both statutory (in PLN) and group purposes (in EUR).

Monthly Closing & Reporting: Assist in the reconciliation of General Ledger accounts and contribute significantly to the monthly closing and reporting processes.

Bank & Account Reconciliation: Ensure periodic reconciliation of bank accounts, as well as customer and supplier accounts.

Reserve Management: Calculate and reconcile reserves effectively.

VAT and Reporting Support: Aid in the preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns and JPK files, and actively cooperate in the preparation of reconciled GUS and NBP reports.

Financial Closure: Take responsibility for the month and year-end closing processes in selected areas.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare data for the \reporting pack\ in designated areas, providing explanations for changes or discrepancies.

Financial Statements Preparation: Actively participate in the preparation of financial statements and furnish data for auditors.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Department, with exposure to GL accounts, AR/AP, and statutory reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP,
- Experience in working on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM),
