The Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager specializing in power grid equipment to drive our electrical equipment business in Poland and the broader CEE market.
You will own the full commercial cycle — from identifying opportunities and building client relationships, to coordinating with suppliers and closing deals. Your scope covers the full range of power grid equipment: HV/MV cables, power transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, circuit breakers, and related electrical infrastructure products.
This is a hunter role with strong relationship management at its core. You will work directly with Korean and Asian manufacturers, bringing competitive supply solutions to Polish and European utilities, grid operators, and EPC contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy for power grid equipment across Poland and selected CEE markets
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients including DSOs, TSOs, EPC contractors, IPPs, and project developers (e.g. PSE, Tauron, PGE, Enea, Energa)
Identify and pursue tenders (przetargi) and direct procurement opportunities across the full product scope
Act as the commercial bridge between European clients and Korean/Asian manufacturers — coordinating on specifications, pricing, lead times, and logistics
Prepare technical-commercial offers, negotiate contracts, and manage the full order lifecycle
Monitor market developments: grid modernization programs, offshore wind infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and EU-funded infrastructure projects
Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and regulatory changes
Report directly to Warsaw office management with transparent pipeline tracking
What We're Looking For
Must-have:
4–5+ years of B2B sales experience in power grid equipment — cables (HV/MV), transformers, switchgear (GIS/AIS), or related electrical infrastructure products
Established network with Polish DSOs, TSOs, EPC contractors, or major power infrastructure stakeholders
Solid understanding of tendering processes, technical specifications, and procurement cycles in the Polish power sector
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technical environment
Professional working proficiency in Polish and English (both required)
Nice to have:
Background at a power equipment manufacturer or distributor (e.g. TFKable, Bitner, ABB, Siemens Energy, Schneider Electric, Hitachi Energy)
Experience working with international supply chains or Asian manufacturers
Familiarity with grid modernization projects, offshore wind cable systems, or BESS/ESS infrastructure
Knowledge of IEC standards relevant to HV/MV equipment
