Senior Marketing & Growth Lead (SEO + Analytics)
INCORE is looking to hire a Senior Marketing & Growth Lead — a strategic, analytical, and hands-on marketer.
We’re a boutique digital agency serving U.S. clients across healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more. Clients rely on us to grow their online presence through strategy, design, development, automation, and digital marketing. You’ll shape INCORE’s marketing direction and lead strategic growth for clients.
Initially, you’ll be a one-person powerhouse — shaping frameworks, executing campaigns, and setting up analytics. As the role grows, you’ll build and lead a small team, define repeatable processes, and guide long-term marketing operations across accounts.
🥸 Requirements
5+ years in SEO, digital marketing, or web growth strategy (agency or B2B environment preferred).
Deep understanding of technical and content SEO, website architecture, and conversion optimization in lead generation and e-commerce.
Hands-on experience driving growth in both lead-generation and e-commerce contexts — including funnel design, lead capture and qualification, CRM/marketing-to-sales handoff, and e-commerce-specific tracking and metrics (purchase events, AOV, LTV, ROAS, dynamic remarketing).
Working knowledge of AI search visibility — Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — and the practices that drive citations and presence in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews / AI Mode, and Gemini answers. You can articulate how AI search differs from classic SEO and what content, structure, and authority signals influence it.
Strong positioning and messaging fluency — able to define ICPs, articulate differentiation, and shape messaging hierarchies that translate into website copy, landing pages, and campaigns.
Ability to benchmark client performance, identify growth gaps, and create actionable plans.
Deep understanding of first-party vs. third-party data strategies in a post-cookie environment, including signal loss mitigation through server-side tracking, enhanced conversions, and consent-aware tagging.
Hands-on experience architecting end-to-end conversion tracking pipelines: consent layer → client-side GTM → server-side GTM → GA4, ad platforms, and CDPs.
Experience implementing and configuring Consent Management Platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Usercentrics, Cookiebot, Termly, Iubenda) and integrating them with GTM via Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure privacy-compliant, accurate data collection across jurisdictions (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
Working knowledge of CDP (Customer Data Platforms). E.g., RudderStack, Customer.io , PostHog) — including event schema design, identity resolution, and audience activation to ad platforms and lifecycle tools.
Hands-on experience with:
SEO tools: SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog / Sitebulb, SurferSEO / Clearscope.
Analytics: GA4, GTM (web + server-side, e.g. via Stape, Usercentrics SST, or self-hosted), Looker Studio.
Reporting & automation: Sheets, dashboards, and other data visualization tools.
AI tools: Demonstrated ability to use AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as a core part of your day-to-day workflow — not occasionally, but fluently. This includes research, content structuring, brief generation, drafting and editing long-form content, synthesizing analytics insights, and using AI to QA AI output (fact-checking, voice/tone consistency, E-E-A-T review). You can articulate where AI accelerates work, where human judgment is non-negotiable, and how to design briefs, voice guides, and reusable Projects/Custom GPTs so AI output reflects the brand rather than generic AI prose.
Working knowledge of PPC principles and performance metrics (oversight, not daily management).
Near-native English fluency required — confident, articulate communicator comfortable pitching ideas, presenting results, and leading client meetings.

Familiarity with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
Experience designing AI-assisted automation workflows for repeatable marketing operations — e.g. orchestrating LLMs inside automation platforms, building reusable Projects/Custom GPTs, or using agentic tools to handle research, reporting, or content QA at scale.
Comfort using multimodal AI for marketing assets — image, video, and voice generation — with a clear sense of where it fits the brand and where it doesn’t.
Experience with customer engagement platforms such as Customer.io , ConvertFlow, and Klaviyo.
Experience integrating analytics, CRM, and reporting pipelines.
Experience with attribution modeling, UTM governance, and offline conversion imports.
Knowledge of marketing funnels, offers, and lead nurturing.
⛑️ Responsibilities
INCORE Marketing Ownership
Lead INCORE’s overall marketing direction — SEO, conversion, content operations, and reporting.
Oversee content, landing pages, case studies, and email nurture flows.
Define and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
Ensure marketing operations are measurable, scalable, and data-driven.
Use AI tools to accelerate content production, briefs, keyword and topic clustering, and competitive analysis — with brand voice guides, custom Projects/GPTs, and editorial QA loops that keep output on-brand and credible.
Positioning & Messaging
Own INCORE’s positioning and messaging — sharpen how we describe who we serve, the problems we solve, and what makes us different from alternative agencies.
Translate positioning into concrete assets: homepage hierarchy, service pages, case studies, sales decks, and outbound messaging.
Lead positioning and messaging engagements for clients — define ICPs, surface differentiators, and build messaging frameworks that anchor their websites and campaigns.
Run positioning workshops or discovery sessions with clients to extract the substance designers, developers, and copywriters need to do their best work.
Maintain consistency between positioning, SEO content strategy, and conversion copy so that traffic, message, and offer all reinforce each other.
Client Strategy & Growth
Research industries and competitors before redesigns to ensure new websites perform as marketing assets.
Benchmark client performance against competitors, identify growth gaps, and define clear roadmaps for traffic, lead generation, and ROI improvement.
Plan and execute for AI search visibility (GEO/AEO) alongside classic SEO — shaping content, structured data, and authority signals so clients are cited and surfaced in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews / AI Mode, and Gemini.
Tailor strategy to each client's business model — designing lead-generation funnels (capture, qualification, nurture, sales handoff) for service-based clients, and e-commerce growth playbooks (product feeds, merchant tracking, lifecycle flows, AOV/LTV optimization) for retail clients.
Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized builds.
Establish conversion tracking standards, analytics baselines, and reporting cadences.
Guide strategy alignment with our external PPC contractor and oversee PPC performance.
Present insights, recommendations, and growth roadmaps to clients.
Use AI-assisted tools to speed up deliverables like audit summaries, content briefs, and performance reports — clearly distinguishing AI-assisted outputs from final, reviewed work shared with clients.
Tracking, Analytics & Privacy
Own the end-to-end tracking and conversion architecture across client sites — consent layer, tagging, server-side infrastructure, and downstream reporting.
Implement and maintain Consent Management Platform (CMP) and Google Consent Mode v2 configurations to ensure compliant, accurate data collection across jurisdictions.
Implement first-party data collection strategies and privacy-compliant tracking frameworks aligned with current and evolving regulations.
Establish UTM governance, attribution standards, and offline conversion workflows.
Revenue Operations & Leadership
Develop standardized scopes, pricing, and retainers for marketing services.
Drive quarterly plans and KPIs for internal and client growth.
Automate reporting, dashboards, and analytics workflows.
Gradually build and mentor a small marketing team to handle content, analytics, and client success.
Establish team guidelines for responsible AI usage — defining where AI accelerates work and where human review is non-negotiable (e.g., client-facing copy, performance data).

You’ll shape how marketing scales within the agency and how clients perceive INCORE as a trusted growth partner.
Environment: Remote-first, collaborative, and pragmatic. We value accountability, clarity, and craftsmanship. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and PPC specialists while maintaining direct client communication. You’ll frequently join or lead client calls, strategy sessions, and presentations — clarity and confidence in communication are essential.
Tooling: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, GTM (web + server-side), Looker Studio, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for ideation and reporting — all used responsibly and aligned with data accuracy and UX quality.
Schedule: Our business hours are 8 AM – 5 PM Eastern Time (New York, UTC-5/-4), with core collaboration hours 8 AM – 3 PM ET. You must be reliably available during core hours (including a daily team standup at 8 AM ET); outside of those, your schedule is flexible as long as the work gets done and you're responsive when needed.
