Analyst in KYC/AML Department - Internship

Salary: 245-250 PLN/day brutto on contract of mandate

Project

The KYC (Know Your Customer) initiative is a major project in the financial sector, focusing on verifying the identity of clients to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities. It involves collecting and analyzing identifying information—such as legal names, addresses, dates of birth, and government-issued identification—before allowing individuals or entities to open accounts or engage in financial transactions.

We don’t expect prior experience – you’ll learn everything while working on the project.We’re looking for candidates who are available for a full 8-hour workday.The internship lasts for one year, with a possible extension until the end of 2026.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Advanced level of English (read, written)

• Scandinavian language is a plus

• A relevant university degree (e.g. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Administration, Compliance or a related field) is required

• Interest in AML/KYC topics or initial experience in this area

• Prior experience in office work or in a corporate environment is a plus

• Excellent communication skills on different business levels with ability to build partnership business relations

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Data analytics skills

• Ability to search for and analyze information in internal systems

• Ability to work in accordance with procedures and operational instructions 

• Meticulousness, responsibility, and attention to detail

• Ability to work under time pressure and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to a results- and reporting-oriented environment

• Ability to make decisions based on data analysis

Responsibilities you'll have

• Analyzing Transaction Monitoring alert / Analyzing KYC Customer profile

• Searching and aggregating data from internal systems

• Assessing and making decision on material – to close or to escalate

• Describing and concluding on material

• Using SOPS (procedures) and Work Instructions to populate excels, sharepoint and other tools
