We are seeking a Field Competence Development Manager, EEM to lead the development of technical and safety competence for our frontline employees located in Eastern Europe & Mediterranean region. In this role, you will apply a data-driven approach to plan, implement, and oversee training initiatives. You will collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues, technical trainers, and key business stakeholders to ensure effective and relevant learning experiences that align with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field competence development initiatives using data insights and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including Operations, Safety, and Business Line teams, to enhance learning strategies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of training programs across multiple locations.
- Ensure process discipline, data accuracy, and compliance with the People & Culture (P&C) operating model.
- Drive the prioritization of Learning & Development activities within delivery and maintenance operations.
- Facilitate field competence governance meetings and collaborate with Safety, Technical Help Desk (THD), Technical Field Support (TFS), and field trainers.
- Partner with the global learning team to provide feedback and contribute to the development of learning solutions and initiatives.
- Ensure field trainers are equipped to deliver training effectively and manage continuity plans if a trainer leaves the role.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in technical training and apprenticeship program development is considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English and the local language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in data management and analytical skills to support decision-making.
- Experience with learning technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), and gamification.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different countries.
- General knowledge of adult education principles and experience in training delivery.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, preferably Workday Learning.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational environment with strong intercultural awareness
