Opis stanowiska
We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist with knowledge of German for our international client from the insurance industry for long-term cooperation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating and preparing annual and quarterly financial statements, forecasts, and projections for insurance and service companies in compliance with HGB, IFRS (with a focus on IFRS 17), and Solvency II.
- Conducting actual vs. planned financial analysis, identifying deviations in balance sheets, and ensuring quality control.
- Compiling annual reports and supervisory board reports for locally managed entities.
- Supporting the preparation of sustainability (ESG) and solvency reports, as well as regulatory submissions to BaFin.
- Managing the financial statement process, liaising with auditors and management, and contributing to cross-functional projects.
Ideal candidate profile
- At least 3 / 4 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Very good knowledge of accounting regulations for insurance companies according to national and international standards (HGB, IFRS, Solvency II)
- Experience in working with SAP (FI, SEM-BCS)
- Strong analytical skills
- English language skills (C1) and German language skills (B2 / C1)

- Employment contract for a 3-month trial period and then for an indefinite period
