Tax Specialist

Together with a  global company in the life sciences and healthcare sector we are looking for a Tax Specialist to join its finance team. The role focuses on VAT compliance, tax reporting, and support during audits. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in an international environment and take part in cross-functional projects. Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit VAT declarations and related tax reports

• Monitor VAT accounts and ensure data accuracy

• Support tax audits and respond to tax authority queries

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and tax standards

• Coordinate with other departments (legal, IT, finance, accounting)

• Participate in finance and system improvement projects

• Identify and help implement process improvements

Ideal candidate profile:

• 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance or accounting

• University degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or similar

• Solid knowledge of VAT and accounting principles

• English at B2 level (spoken and written)

• German at A2 or B1 level 

• Experience with SAP

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Location: Gdańsk

• Work model: Hybrid - once per week in the office or 100% remote if you are not located in Tricity
