Operations Manager - Marketplace & Retail with German (m/f/d)

Your role and main tasks

As an Operations Manager – Marketplace & Retail Media, you will be responsible for the operational management and execution of our retail media activities for marketplace and retail partners. In addition, you will support our marketplace base partners with all of their inquiries. You will ensure that processes run smoothly, campaigns are executed efficiently, and partners receive optimal support. 

Your responsibilities in detail: 

• Supporting our base partners with all inquiries, including customer service requests & billing-related matters

• Selling, planning, managing, and analyzing retail media activities for our marketplace base partners.

• Operational management and implementation of retail media activities for key account partners and retail partners, including:

• Creating and maintaining retail media activities in various backend tools

• Preparing graphic briefs

• Creating invoices for retail media activities, including monthly and quarterly closing

• Regular coordination and communication with internal teams (Retail, CRM, Brand, and Shop team) to optimally plan promotions and campaigns.

• Creating reports (e.g., Excel & Tableau) to monitor performance and success.

• Further developing operational processes and supporting the preparation of marketing and sales materials for our partners. 

You will need

• You work in a structured and organized manner and enjoy improving processes. 

• You enjoy working with numbers and have initial experience in the e-commerce or retail media sector. 

• You have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken. 

• You are communicative, a team player, and able to maintain an overview even in complex projects.
