We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join our growing projects.
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive PMO services to assigned programmes, ensuring alignment with best practices, tools, templates, and governance frameworks. You’ll collaborate closely with Programme Managers, Project Managers, suppliers, and various business teams to ensure the smooth delivery of programmes.
- Maintain core programme documentation, including programme plans and the RAID log. Ensure risks, issues, actions, and dependencies are tracked, updated, and resolved effectively.
- Consolidate programme status reports by gathering insights from Project Managers and workstream leads, seeking clarification when needed.
- Implement strong information management and change control practices, maintaining comprehensive audit histories for all programmes.
- Support budget management for programmes, including forecasting, reporting, and managing changes when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, the project delivery framework, and recognised industry standards, offering guidance as needed.
- Provide additional support, including performance analysis, drafting materials for stakeholder meetings, and participating in firm-wide processes such as financial year-end reviews.
- Work with Programme Managers to continually improve PMO services and establish new ones where required.
Additionally, you’ll actively participate in the broader PMO community and contribute to enhancing our PMO capabilities.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Programme PMO or related project/programme coordination role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project or task management tools is a plus.
- Recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM, or Axelos P3O certification.
- Experience in professional services or legal services (advantageous but not essential).
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong skills in data analysis and financial management information.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of an organisation.
