Scrum Master/Project Manager

Role Summary:

As a Scrum Master / Project Manager, you will ensure the squad’s adherence to agile principles, facilitate agile ceremonies, and eliminate any blockers to facilitate smooth delivery. You will work in a cross-functional squad, collaborating with other teams and departments to promote a culture of self-organization, continuous learning, and improvement. Additionally, you will manage waterfall processes when necessary to complement agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote agile practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Prioritize and remove impediments, guiding the team in resolving challenges.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective change management.
• Maintain a focus on delivering customer value, optimizing flow, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Lead the development and communication of team metrics and progress reports.
• Assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of project work.
• Monitor and manage risks to keep deliverables on track.
• Develop project roadmaps and track progress against budgets.
• Facilitate meetings, ensuring effective communication with both the squad and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, focusing on coaching teams and guiding agile processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with experience managing risks and issues.
• Understanding of Treasury and Liquidity business concepts and reporting.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as PowerPoint, ADO/JIRA, WhiteBoard, Confluence, and Excel.
• Proven track record in delivering projects within large financial institutions or corporations.

Preferred:

• PMP or Scrum Master certification.
• Exposure to user-centered design or production support.
• Knowledge of business architecture principles and methodologies.
