For our global client operating in the electronics manufacturing and repair sector, we are looking for a Vice President of Engineering who will be responsible for building, leading and continuously improving production engineering capabilities across multiple international sites.

This is a senior leadership role with real impact on how products are tested, repaired and processed in high‑volume, high‑mix environments. The position operates within global structures, working closely with commercial, innovation and operations teams to turn engineering capability into scalable operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a global engineering strategy covering production, test and process engineering across multiple sites

• Lead and develop distributed, multi‑disciplinary engineering teams, ensuring consistent standards, best practice sharing and capability growth

• Drive efficiency, scalability and cost optimization of engineering operations while supporting live production

• Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) from an engineering and program management perspective, ensuring smooth onboarding and transition to serial operations

• Deploy new technologies, automation and innovations into production environments, effectively bridging R&D and operations

• Partner with commercial and customer-facing teams on engineering requirements, SLAs and technical input for RFQs

• Support strategic decisions related to capacity planning, new site setup and customer program transitions

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic or similar)

• Extensive experience in manufacturing/ production engineering within electronics, automotive or related industries

• Proven leadership background managing large, multi-site engineering teams

• Strong understanding of NPI, process optimization, automation and continuous improvement

• Ability to operate in a global, matrix organization and collaborate across functions and regions

• Commercial mindset and strong stakeholder management skills
