Employee Relation Manager (f/m/x)

Location: Warsaw/ Błonie

The Employee Relations Manager will serve as the point of contact for associate relations issues and inquires within an identified cross segment, cross functional client group. Responsibilities include building trust, credibility and collaborative relationships with line managers and associates. Handle inquiries, mitigate risk and minimize adverse impact to the organization through application of policies, practices and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Resolve issues and address client needs to ensure situations are resolved fairly, objectively, and in a manner that aligns with our Five Principles and the Associate Concept.


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Responsible for evaluating and managing Employee (Associate) Relations questions, concerns and issues escalated from the MyP&O (HR) center or client group.
  • Coach and advise P&O Business Partners/P&O Heads, LT, line managers and associates. 
  • Make recommendations regarding policies, practices and procedures focused on improving consistency, effectiveness and capability.
  • Deliver capability building programs for line managers and P&O Business Partners/P&O Heads.
  • Engage with peers and Employee Relations Lead regarding complex, high risk situations. 
  • U rated associate performance reviews will be reviewed and approved.
  • Partner with and coach line managers on performance management process and documentation.
  • Review and recommend next steps regarding separations, severance options and transition assistance.
  • Partner with legal counsel to represent the business in legal and governmental proceedings.
  • Perform associate relations investigations. 
  • Prepare recommendations based on policies, practices and processes.   
  • Identify associate relations trends in area of responsibility and partner with Associate Relations Lead on appropriate actions.
  • Deliver Associate Relations capability building programs to site leaders and line manager.


What are we looking for?

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Legal.
  • Five + years of professional experience working in Human Resources/Labor Relations.
  • Deep knowledge in applicable employment and labor relations regulations.
  • Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and working effectively with manager while managing competing projects and/or demanding clients.
  • Travel Requirements around 30% of the time will be spent traveling.
  • Fluent Polish and English is a must.
