About Our Client

The US global manufacturer of specialty chemicals with 2021 revenues of approximately $8 billion and its business center in Kraków.

The hybrid more - 3 times a week in the office; 2 a week remote opportunities.

Job Description

• Ensuring an adequate system of internal controls is implemented / maintained for key accounting processes, in compliance with requirements under Sarbanes Oxley
• Maintaining external audit relationship and secure satisfactory internal and external audit opinions for the UK legal entities.
• Month end activities like revaluation & analyzing the exchange differences
• Preparation and execution of the monthly reporting activities
• Acting as focal point for the local management in UK
• Acting as focal point for the local authorities in UK
• Filing proposals for improvement & efficiencies of systems and procedures

The Successful Applicant

• UK qualified accountant, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of UK VAT and UK payroll accounting
• Fluent in English (B2/C1 in speaking and writing)
• Excellent communication skills
