Our client is a multinational transport company with stable and successful business model. Company is looking for a talent who combines two areas of supporting functions - finances and project management.

Job Description

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the Group Finance Director and controlling team to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisions.
• Manage relations with external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with remote teams across Europe and all finance-related matters.
• Work with shared-service center for transactional accounting.
• Regular reporting on the financial performance to external stakeholders.
• Coordinating and implementing financial systems, consolidation process, digitalization across European entities.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience as a finance manager or a chief accountant.
• Strong expertise in local GAAP/Tax and IFRS.
• Knowledge of Polish legal environment.
• Experience with BI systems; strong MS office skills (XLS and PPT).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and managerial skills; people management and influencing skills.
• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• As a plus, experience in project management, especially in implementing and setting up financial systems.
