Our client is a multinational transport company with stable and successful business model. Company is looking for a talent who combines two areas of supporting functions - finances and project management.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Group Finance Director and controlling team to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisions.
- Manage relations with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with remote teams across Europe and all finance-related matters.
- Work with shared-service center for transactional accounting.
- Regular reporting on the financial performance to external stakeholders.
- Coordinating and implementing financial systems, consolidation process, digitalization across European entities.
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience as a finance manager or a chief accountant.
- Strong expertise in local GAAP/Tax and IFRS.
- Knowledge of Polish legal environment.
- Experience with BI systems; strong MS office skills (XLS and PPT).
- Fluent in English.
- Strong communication and managerial skills; people management and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- As a plus, experience in project management, especially in implementing and setting up financial systems.
