You can have an opportunity to join the Key Design Phase of the wide Finance Transformation Program FTP. You will be bridging the gap between the FTP strategy (as developed in 2023) and their later implementation.
- The candidate should possess a strong understanding of controlling and financial steering best practices, particularly in KPI selection, cash flow management, and reporting.
- A general understanding of internal and external accounting, as well as Group Structure, is essential.
- The ability to quickly build credibility and professionally interact with Top Management of the group is important to understand their needs and effectively support their work.
- A self-motivated mindset is required, along with the ability to work within an agile, self-organised project environment.
- Strong analytical skills and an unbiased approach to tasks are necessary for this role.
- The candidate should have a good understanding of finance analytic and data visualisation techniques.

- A very good command of English is required, and proficiency in German or other languages is considered a plus.
- A Master's degree in an applied science is preferred, ideally in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics, though degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, or IT are also acceptable.
- Several years of working experience in a Controlling Line Function or Consulting role is necessary, preferably with significant involvement in discussions with Top Management.
- The ideal candidate should continuously strive to identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while maximising time spent on value-adding activities, aiming to create clearer, faster, and richer insights.
- You will act as a liaison between the FTP strategy developed in 2023 and its subsequent implementation.
- You will comprehend and integrate the steering philosophy from Corporate Controlling and Top Management of LHG and BU.
- You will create a future steering logic and roadmap, also known as an information plan, which includes the Group Steering Approach with Top KPIs, cash flow reporting and forecasting concepts, and managerial airline profit and loss statements.
- You will derive and align requirements with business stakeholders and related FTP modules, such as Data and Structures.
- You will analyse the interfaces and dependencies between controlling and accounting processes and data, assessing their implications for solution design and implementation.
- You will oversee the implementation of interim solutions for the defined steering logic within the current finance IT environment, while also initiating the full-scope realisation with FTP.
