Our Client is a company operating globally. They are famous for their sustainable approach to business and their high-quality products. Their SSC/GBS structure started forming around 3 years ago and is still growing in new functions and processes.
- Prepare and deliver VAT reports and reconcile VAT accounts and registers.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statement preparation, CIT reporting, and compliance for assigned entities.
- Support consolidation and group reporting, ensuring alignment with group requirements and timely submission of financial data.
- Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders during interim, annual audits, and statutory reporting processes.
- Maintain balance sheet oversight, ensuring reconciliations and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.
- Oversee monthly and annual closing processes for RTR-related accounts.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, policies, and group standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate across finance and non-finance teams to improve efficiency and leverage synergies.
- Contribute to transitions, system migrations, and implementations for RTR processes.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, ACCA or other chartered Accounts certification
- Proven experience in a similar role in an SSC/GBS environment / experience in financial controlling or reporting
- Very good knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Good command of spoken and written English is a must.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge and SAP experience required
- Ability to operate independently and proactively in addressing workforce needs, challenges and expectations
- Well organized and able to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills; clear, delicate, and explaining finance for non-finance people
- Ability to plan and conduct informative and effective training programs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and documented process improvement experiences
- Previous experience from shared service centers
