Head of Finance

About Our Client

Our client is an international FMCG company.

Due to the further development of the company, we are looking for a candidate for the newly created position of Head of Finance. The employed person will be responsible for managing the company's finances in the European region. This is a role in which the candidate will supervise the work of the accounting team and independently take care of the topics of controlling and business partnering (hands-on position).

Job Description

• Lead annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process for Europe countries
• Monitor actual spend vs budget and plans, analyze variances
• Evaluate business models for new investments such as marketing actions or market openings
• Identify and implement new initiatives to drive profitability
• Support the business through case analysis and recommendations
• Manage cash flow and working capital
• Supervise the accounting team in terms of all tax and reporting matters
• Ensure compliance with local and group requirements
• Cooperate with internal and financial auditors
• Report to Regional CFO

The Successful Applicant

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position such as: Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Finance Director
• Fluent communication in English
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of FMCG business
• ACCA/CIMA qualifications - nice to have
• Experience in regional structure - nice to have
• Business acumen and accuracy
• Self-confidence and assertiveness
