Title: Revenue Recognition Specialist
Location: Warsaw (on-site)
We are looking for a Revenue Recognition Specialist responsible for controlling the order booking and invoicing process, ensuring compliance of revenue recognition decisions with US GAAP, SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley and NCR Corporate Policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and authorize order booking and invoicing requests
- Analyze documentation to secure NCR's interests and ensure accurate order recording
- Make revenue recognition decisions compliant with US GAAP, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley and NCR Corporate Policies
- Maintain revenue deferral spreadsheets, ensuring that revenue is deferred and subsequently released in a timely fashion
- Verify revenue data and provide corrections and clarifications to reported results
- Participate in the monthly revenue close process, approve offline revenue and offline orders bookings
- Coordinate information flow between NCR senior management, Business Units, and BOC
- Respond to queries from Business Units and Corporate management
- Provide internal and external audit support as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Experience in revenue operations or finance roles
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software
- Ability to handle ambiguous data
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in English, knowledge of other foreign languages is an additional asset
