Global eCommerce Consumer Insights Manager


 Location: Europe (preferably Central Europe)

Contract: Full-time employment

Salary: Up to €6,000 gross/month (or equivalent in local currency)

As part of its digital transformation journey, the company is expanding its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) capabilities and is seeking an experienced Consumer Insights Manager to drive insight-led decision-making across global e-commerce operations.

Role Overview


We are looking for a Global eCommerce Consumer Insights Manager with a strong background in consumer research, particularly within the e-commerce channel. This is a strategic and visible role focused on turning consumer behavior data into actionable insights that influence product development, marketing initiatives, and customer experience improvements.

You don’t need to be an SQL or technical data expert—but you must be comfortable working with data, interpreting it through the lens of consumer behavior, and translating it into clear, compelling business recommendations.


Key Responsibilities


Consumer Insights & Research

  • Design and manage global consumer research initiatives (quantitative and qualitative)

  • Build segmentation models and identify key personas and behaviors

  • Provide insights to support product, marketing, and UX strategies

Data Analysis & Presentation

  • Work with data from analytics tools, CRM/ERP systems, and market sources

  • Interpret key DTC KPIs such as CLTV, conversion, retention, and engagement

  • Develop and deliver insight-driven presentations to senior stakeholders

E-commerce Channel Focus

  • Leverage deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics to guide insights

  • Collaborate with DTC, product, and marketing teams to optimize customer journeys

  • Identify regional differences and emerging trends across global markets

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic thought partner across departments and global teams

  • Drive a culture of customer-centric, data-informed decision-making

  • Train stakeholders on how to use consumer insights effectively

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or customer analytics

  • Proven experience working with or within e-commerce/DTC environments

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills

  • Experience with analytics tools like Power BI, Google Analytics, Qlik (no coding required)

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce KPIs

  • Excellent command of English; experience working in an international setting

Preferred

  • Experience in FMCG, beverages, or home appliances

  • Background in managing global or multi-regional research programs
