Financial controller (M/F)
We are looking for Financial Controller who will join our team supporting a group of Orange companies. This is a new project involving the transition of activities, offering a unique opportunity to shape processes and contribute to the team's development. You will work closely with key decision-makers within the group, having a direct impact on financial processes and decisions. Responsibilities:
Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Creating financial models to support business decisions.
Monthly reporting and analysis of financial results.
Analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
Collecting and processing data for key cost and revenue indicators (costs, revenues, margins, CAPEX).
Supervising month-end closing and management accounting.
Valuation and classification of labor costs.
Calculating and booking intercompany settlements.
Verifying invoices between group companies.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Controlling purchase requisitions and approving contracts.
Collaborating with applicants and participating in audits.
Preparing financial presentations for management.
Providing financial support for strategic and operational projects (business cases, tracking benefits).
Preparing the annual budget and cost adjustments.
Direct cooperation with decision-makers.
Requirements:
4-5 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, modeling, and financial analysis.
Higher education in economics or a related field.
Proficiency in English enabling free communication (min. B2 level).
Very good analytical skills (variance analysis, trend analysis), including the identification, verification, and control of numerical data.
Experience working with large datasets and drawing conclusions for improvement actions.
Ability to prepare and present data, written and verbal communication skills.
Practical knowledge of the income statement in management accounting.
Knowledge of economic efficiency indicators of enterprises.
Ability to work in an international environment, in a distributed team.
Independence, communication skills, and proactivity.
Nice to have:
Experience in capital groups and intercompany settlements.
Knowledge of IFRS.
Experience in cooperation with auditors and tax advisors.
Proficient in spreadsheet and BI tools (e.g., Excel/Power Query/Power BI) and ERP systems (knowledge of NetSuite and Magnitude will be an advantage).
