Role Overview:

We're hiring a  GEO Strategist (Growth & Customer Projects) who will own two high-impact workstreams:

• Our own visibility ~ 50%: Make OtterlyAI the most visible and most-cited brand in the GEO/AI search category, across both traditional and AI-powered search.

• Our customers' success ~ 50%: Act as a hands-on consultant and sparring partner for customers and partners who need expert guidance to improve their AI search visibility.

This is not a "write blog posts and optimize meta tags" role. You'll run experiments, build playbooks, shape product decisions, and work directly with our customer’s marketing teams. Your work will define how an emerging industry thinks about GEO - and you'll have the platform and data to back it up. You'll report directly to Thomas Peham (CEO & Co-founder).

Main responsibilities:

Own OtterlyAI's Search Visibility Strategy

• Build and execute our end-to-end SEO + GEO strategy - Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and beyond.

• Establish OtterlyAI's entity presence and topical authority so that AI engines cite us as the go-to source for GEO.

• Manage technical SEO foundations: site architecture, schema, internal linking, crawlability -  the stuff that makes everything else work.

• ack, report, and iterate on performance across both traditional and AI search channels.

Create Content That AI Engines Want to Cite

• Drive original research, industry studies, and data-backed reports that position OtterlyAI as the category authority. We have the data - you turn it into narratives.

• Develop E-E-A-T-driven content assets (guides, FAQs, comparison pages, multimedia) designed to be highly referenceable in AI-generated answers.

• Collaborate with founders and product on thought leadership that earns citations, not just clicks.

Consult for Customers & Partners

• Be OtterlyAI's resident GEO expert for our customers - run audits, deliver strategic recommendations, and help them improve AI search visibility.

• Build scalable GEO playbooks and frameworks that customers can action with (or without) your direct involvement.

• Support partner agencies and consultants with GEO expertise, co-creating value that drives retention and expansion.

Main requirements:

• Experience: Min. 4 years in SEO & Content Marketing (preferably in B2B SaaS);

• Proven results in growing search visibility, driving conversions, and delivering measurable business impact;

• GEO: You understand how AI Search engines source, summarize and cite brands. Bonus: Experience with the OtterlyAI product 😉

• Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.), and related AI tools

• Fluent in English; Bonus: You are a native English speaker.
