ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse/Consolidation Center Manager to oversee the operations of our newly established package consolidation center. This role is critical for ensuring smooth and efficient processes within the warehouse and sorting facility while maintaining the highest operational standards.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Manage daily operations of the consolidation center, including package handling, sorting, repacking, relabelling and dispatching. Manage the distribution of Ovoko Pack across Poland
- Ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Design and refine workflows for inbound and outbound logistics
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing improvements
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse facility staff
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Monitor key performance indicators for the consolidation center, such as throughput, error rates, and on-time performance, operational cost per parcel
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with local regulations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics warehouse, or sorting center management
- Proven track record in developing and optimizing operational processes in a warehouse or sorting facility environment
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in both Polish and English (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational tools
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
