Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Due Diligence: Oversee the comprehensive due diligence process for potential renewable energy acquisitions, ensuring all financial, legal, and operational risks are adequately assessed
  • Evaluate Financials: Analyze financial projections and develop robust business cases for renewable energy projects, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals
  • Negotiate Deals: Take the lead in negotiating and structuring acquisition deals with local businesses, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
  • Manage Post-Acquisition Integration: Coordinate the seamless integration of newly acquired assets into the company’s portfolio, managing both operational and strategic transitions
  • Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy markets of Italy and/or Spain, ensuring ongoing market insights

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on M&A transactions. Experience in renewable energy, investments, or real estate development is highly advantageous
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and the ability to work with complex financial data
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish is a must, depending on the region of responsibility. Fluent Lithuanian would be a big advantage
  • M&A Experience: Knowledge or experience with mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the renewable energy or real estate sectors, will be a significant asset
  • Travel and Relocation: Ability to travel or an option to relocate to Italy / Spain (not a requirement). In Poland, you can work remotely or on-site in the office located in Gdansk
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under deadlines
  • Adaptability: Open to working in a rapidly evolving sector, with a keen interest in learning and adapting to new markets and challenges.

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

  • M&A Exposure: Experience with M&A processes in the Italian/Spanish market is a huge plus, but not mandatory
  • Business Development Knowledge: Background in business development, business modeling, or energy sector development is an added advantage
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines
  • International Mindset: Open-minded and culturally aware, with a passion for working across diverse international markets.

Compensation & Benefits:
