Currently, to our EMEA Production Hub we are looking to recruit the Program Management Director for Pharmeceutical Sector who will be responsible for delivering excellence in quality of service and output. You will manage and continuously build partnerships with the account leaders of our pharmaceutical clients, as well as oversee a diverse set of teams, from program and project management to design and data insights, delivering assets across multiple brands and markets.
- Building constructive and strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in the pharmaceutical sector to deliver excellence in service and execution.
- Ensuring any escalations are dealt with promptly and professionally. Being a strategic partner and collaborative problem solver who can understand and prioritize the most important work and initiatives.
- Working closely with client leaders and their teams to analyze market strategies, competition, business challenges, and meet particular expectations of the client, identify organic growth opportunities, and execute intentional organic growth plans.
- Identifying areas to optimize in own team and other supporting functions and being able to rapidly work and influence without direct ownership to resolve issues.
- Understanding business objectives beyond the client role by driving and actively participating in cross-capability initiatives and further leveraging the connected expertise.
- Creating a high-performing team, ensuring a client-centric mentality across all levels of the team, where high standards of service and output are the norm. Developing a deep understanding of how each pharma account works—driving in demand and ensuring the team is set up to manage the peaks and troughs in the workload.
- Making sure the day-to-day gets done while also driving long-term strategies and managing change internally and with the production teams.
- Responsible for building the correct shaped team for the account and spotting opportunities to drive efficiencies in staffing.
- Proactively identifying ahead of time when extra capacity is needed and working with the wider regional teams and hubs to distribute work, accordingly, ensuring that all deadlines are hit.
- Budget planning: comprehensive prospecting and preparation of budget assumptions for growth across client portfolios. Comprehensive understanding of the revenue targets across the account.
- Responsible for the annual account planning and activation process: ensuring that teams and agency processes are developed and orchestrated effectively.
- Ensuring robust data analysis and reporting by proactively using data to provide insights into team performance and capacity, identify areas needing remediation, and ensure all processes and procedures are followed for reliable results.
- 15+ years' experience in a client facing role within pharmaceutical production entity is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding and experience with the processes and tools used to deliver production work for clients including medical legal review and regulatory processes.
- Prior experience building and maintaining key relationships with agencies, partnerships, and the most senior clients and key stakeholders is required.
- Experience leading a production team is strongly preferred. Must have a demonstrated ability to lead teams successfully through significant change.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to present with gravitas.
- Prior experience contributing to business planning and forecasting required.
