Job description
- Work alongside the Operations Team and translators in order to produce an excellent final product.
- Design and layout of various digital and print materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, advertisements, and other marketing collaterals.
- Collaborate with other team members to understand design requirements and objectives.
- Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Extract or export text for translation from DTP and artwork packages, and import, tidy up, or reformat translated text.
- Prepare files for print production.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, software updates, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on DTP matters such as font substitution and suggested new applications.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Very good command of English in speaking and writing.
- 3+ years experience as a DTP Designer or in a similar role
- Portfolio of relevant design projects is nice to have.
- Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat). Knowledge of other programs would be appreciated (e.g. After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, XD, AutoCAD, Frame Maker and PowerPoint for Mac & Windows platforms).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, photo manipulation and composition principles.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Knowledge of print production processes and ability to set up files for print.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members and clients.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
