Senior UI Designer

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer with advanced expertise in Figma and a strong background in design systems. This role is highly technical and focuses on maintaining, documenting, and evolving existing design systems, as well as building new systems based on brand and strategic requirements for eCommerce assets. Your work will ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across multi-brand environments, with strong focus on automation and semi-automation.

• Maintain and develop design systems in Figma: update components, variables, libraries, and documentation for scalability and brand compliance.

• Create new design systems for eCommerce and digital assets based on brand guidelines and strategic requirements.

• Build modular, reusable components and templates in Figma to support multi-brand, multi-format production.

• Ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all UI elements and design system components.

• Test and validate design system components before deployment.

• Present solutions and system updates to clients and internal stakeholders in English or Polish.

• Stay up to date with Figma updates and new features, and propose enhancements to workflows using automation and AI solutions.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Strategists, Developers, and Client Service teams to align on system standards and implementation.

• Conduct technical analysis of projects and ensure feasibility of design solutions, working closely with developers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.

• Share knowledge and best practices within the team; mentor junior designers and review their work for technical and brand compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UI Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing design system work and digital projects.

• Expert-level Figma skills, including components, variants, auto-layout, variables, and libraries.

• Very good command of English (spoken and written).

• Proven experience in design system maintenance and development for multi-brand environments.

• Strong understanding of modular design principles and scalable UI architecture.

• Experience designing for responsive web (RWD) and eCommerce platforms.

• Working knowledge of UX principles and ability to apply them in system design.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for occasional asset adaptation.

• Detail-oriented with strong skills in typography, layout, and consistency.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical design concepts and system logic.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics for technical feasibility checks.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  
  

Nice-to-have:

· eCommerce experience and understanding of digital production processes.

· Knowledge of additional UI/UX tools (Adobe XD, Sketch).

· Experience with automation tools and GenAI solutions (e.g., Firefly, OpenAI, Runway) to enhance workflows.
