The Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Analyst to help drive data-driven decision-making and optimize marketing performance. This role requires expert knowledge of Google BigQuery, GA4, and preferably GA360, with a strong understanding of acquisition strategies and a track record of preparing insightful reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tableau, working knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Additionally, this role involves close and ongoing collaboration with our team in the United States, ensuring seamless integration of tracking strategies across global campaigns. Flexible working hours can be occasionally required to align with different time zones and project needs.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze and interpret digital marketing performance metrics across various acquisition channels (e.g., paid media, organic, email).
- Use tools such as Google BigQuery, GA4, and Tableau to prepare and present detailed, visually engaging reports.
Marketing Performance Optimization:
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to optimize campaigns for acquisition, engagement, and conversions.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI and inform strategy across digital marketing channels.
Collaboration with Marketing Teams:
- Partner with SEO, SEM, Paid Media, and Content teams to align data insights with channel strategies.
- Ensure best practices are implemented and supported by data to achieve marketing goals.
Tracking and Implementation:
- Ensure accurate tracking across platforms by working with the Tracking and Analytics Specialist or development team to maintain proper tagging and data collection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in marketing data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
SEO & SEM Insights:
- Analyze search performance and trends, supporting SEO and SEM strategies with relevant insights.
- Use analytics to guide improvements in keyword performance, audience segmentation, and campaign targeting.
Communication & Stakeholder Reporting:
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse stakeholders, including marketers, leadership, and clients.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting to showcase marketing performance and ROI.
- Expert-level proficiency with Google BigQuery, GA4, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Strong understanding of GA360 (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels, with a focus on ROI and performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL for data querying.
- Familiarity with additional marketing tools, such as Google Ads, Google Search Console, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Proven track record of creating dashboards or custom reports tailored to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with marketers, developers, and analysts.
