Due to the transition of accounting functions to Poland, we are strengthening our finance team and looking for an experienced accounting professional – not FP&A, but a true General Ledger Accountant who knows US GAAP inside out.

Senior GL Accountant / US GAAP Accountant / International Accounting Lead (US GAAP)

📍 Location: Krakow, Poland

👉 We’re Looking for You, If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics (required)

• Experience in accounting (GL / RTR / Record-to-Report)

• Experience in month-end and year-end closing

• Experience with BNA Fixed Assets or similar fixed asset software (book and tax depreciation)

• Knowledge of US GAAP is a strong advantage

• Very good command of English (B2/C1)

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with the Oracle system is welcome

• High attention to detail and ownership mindset

🚀 Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records in accordance with US GAAP

• Prepare financial statements for the Hong Kong entity (R&A Real Estate Holdings)

• Report financial data to US headquarters

• Perform full month-end and year-end closing processes (including journal entries: accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, reconciliations)

• Support audits and tax reporting (fiscal year-end: December 31)

• Manage fixed assets for multiple US entities in the BNA system:

  • record additions and disposals

  • maintain book and tax depreciation

  • prepare reports

  • post monthly and adjusting journal entries

• Maintain and update lease schedules
