Project Engineer (Maternity cover)

Your responsibilities

• Managing and approving the technological process, taking into account the established objectives regarding cost, product quality, timeline of implementation
• Preparation of production schedules and implementation of process changes,
• Coordinating the implementation of process changes into production
• Preparation of technical specifications
• Conducting project meetings and daily communication with external and internal customers
• Overseeing quality results, production results and direct manufacturing costs together with the quality and production departments, and working with these teams to achieve set quality and quantity targets
• Definition and implementation of corrective actions resulting from root cause analyses or internal and external audits

Our requirements

• higher technical education
• min. 2 years of experience in an engineering position (preferably in aerospace or automotive industry)
• experience in implementation and/or project management will be an asset (Gant chart, Project Plan)
• knowledge of 8D methodology, Lean Manufacturing in practice
• ability to read technical drawings
• required knowledge of English at a level that allows free communication and reading and creating documentation,
• analytical and communication skills and very good organization of work
• commitment and active search for solutions to problems
• Knowledge of APQP methdology

SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
