Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o. o. is a leading European manufacturer of city and suburban buses. Its activity is focused on the development of low- and zero-emission vehicles – electric, hydrogen and trolleybuses. Over 26,000 Solaris vehicles delivered to date operate in 33 countries and 850 cities throughout Europe and beyond. Solaris belongs to the Spanish CAF Group (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) SA and employs over 3,000 people in Poland and abroad. The brand's vehicles, from the idea through the design and implementation phase, are manufactured in Poland. The entire activity of the manufacturer is consistent with the mission contained in the slogan: "We are changing the face of public transport". Solaris is also an active partner for public transport operators in the zero-emission transport transformation process. The company's vehicles have been awarded many times for quality and innovation. The Urbino 18 hydrogen bus won the prestigious title of "Bus of The Year 2025".

We are currently looking for candidates for the role of:

Commercial Operations & Performance Analyst 

Your tasks:

  • ensure accuracy and alignment of cash inflow dates within the SAP system, collaborating closely with Regional teams and the Finance department,

  • coordinate contract release alignment and actively participate in the contract release and handover process with the Contract Management team to ensure all critical commercial data is accurately reflected in SAP,

  • maintain and update central data systems, ensuring that dashboards, reporting structures, and PowerBI reports reflect real-time, accurate business metrics,

  • actively participate in Sales & Operations (S&OP) meetings, contributing data insights regarding bus demand, identifying potential delivery gaps, and highlighting commercial risk areas,

  • conduct regular sales pipeline reviews in coordination with the Bidding Office and Regional sales teams,

  • analyze and synthesize complex sales tables to map out, maintain, and optimize the commercial sales pipeline,

  • own the late delivery forecasting and estimation process, mitigating risks and providing visibility to internal stakeholders regarding potential timeline deviations,

  • track, analyze, and report on Solaris’ positioning within the global bus market,

  • monitor macroeconomic and industry trends, evaluate market size variations, and deliver deep-dive SWOT analyses to support leadership's strategic planning,

  • identify performance gaps and improvement areas across commercial workflows, proposing data-backed solutions to optimize commercial efficiency.

Our expectations:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related technical/commercial field,

  • minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, commercial analysis, business intelligence, or financial controlling, ideally within the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy machinery industries,

  • proficiency in SAP (specifically commercial/sales modules),

  • strong data visualization skills using PowerBI or similar BI tools,

  • advanced mastery of MS Excel for data synthesis and table analysis,

  • analytical mindset with high attention to detail,

  •  strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across Regions, Finance, and Bidding teams,

  • proactive approach to problem-solving,

  • fluent English, knowledge of German would be a great asset.
