Independent Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Independent Accountant to join our finance team. This is a key role in our accounting department, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting regulations. You will work under the supervision of the Chief Accountant and collaborate closely with a team of supportive colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Checking and booking documents
• Ongoing analysis and verification of accounting entries
• Maintaining cost records and reconciling them with the general ledger accounts
• Calculating and booking reserves, currency valuations, and deferred tax
• Maintaining subsidiary ledgers for fixed assets
• Preparing tax declarations and internal/external financial reports
• Booking bank statements and preparing bank transfers
• Reconciling and confirming balances with contractors / stakeholders
• Collaborating with external institutions (e.g., ZUS, GUS)

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of tax law (VAT, CIT) and Polish Accounting Act (local GAAP)
• Hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting
• Familiarity with enova365 system is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently
