Position: Financial Controller 💎

🎯 What will you do?

As our Financial Controller, you will:

• oversee the company’s financial controlling function, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes 

• prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements etc)

• lead the annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting processes in collaboration with all departments 

• ensure effective cost control, variance analysis, and identification of efficiency opportunities 

• support investor reporting, fundraising processes, and statutory audit requirements 

• collaborate closely with accounting, operations, and commercial teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data 

• manage and automate processes for commission settlements for the sales team and bonus calculations for all employees 

• design, implement, and improve ERP functionalities (we use Enova) and automate financial reporting processes 

• develop, implement, and maintain internal financial policies, procedures, and controls

• carefully reviews inputs, identifies discrepancies, and ensures error-free outputs

• implements robust checks and controls to guarantee reliability of financial information, supporting sound decision-making and compliance with internal and external requirements

• combines strong financial expertise with a broad understanding of the business, including participation in fundraising processes and strategic initiatives

📌 Requirements

Ideally, you'll bring with you:

• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, finance business partnering, or senior financial analysis 

• proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and management reporting requirements

• advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling – knowledge of BI and/or reporting tools is an asset!

• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights

• ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines 

• excellent communication skills

• proficiency in English (min. C1)

Nice to have:

• experience working in fast-paced, high-growth companies, ideally combined with trading/commercial companies
