At Surfer, we’ve grown fast and with growth comes complexity. Data lives in many places, definitions don’t always match, and insights arrive too late. That’s why we’re hiring a Data & Revenue Operations Lead: someone who will bring clarity, consistency, and foresight. In this role, you’ll build the single source of truth, connect product and revenue data into one customer journey, and spot opportunities (or risks) before anyone else does. You’ll be the bridge between product, finance, marketing, sales, and customer success - making sure we all speak the same data language and act on insights that truly drive growth.
As a Data & Revenue Operations Lead at Surfer you will:
Deliver proactive, high-level insights across product, revenue, and customer success – not just answering questions, but spotting opportunities and risks before anyone else does.
Own our core business metrics and ensure we have one single source of truth across all teams.
Build and maintain customer health scores, upsell readiness models, and churn prediction signals.
Identify revenue opportunities (add-ons, bundles, upsells) and risks (declining usage, feature non-adoption).
Set up and evaluate A/B tests, supporting product and growth experiments.
Monitor our data flows daily, ensure data quality, and keep integrations (PowerBI, HubSpot, Intercom, Finance systems) running smoothly.
Provide Finance, Sales, Marketing, and CS teams with clear, actionable dashboards and reports they can rely on, cutting complexity and focusing on what matters most.
Manage and optimize HubSpot and Intercom: workflows, automation, integrations, and data hygiene.
Continuously optimize our toolstack, evaluate and evolve our setup (e.g. potential Power BI migration or replacements) to ensure it stays modern, efficient, and fit for business needs.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in both RevOps and analytics - you’ve worked at the intersection of tools, processes, and data, enabling commercial teams while driving business insights.
Solid background in SaaS, understanding subscription metrics (ARR, churn, retention, expansion) and customer journeys.
A “one-man army” mindset, ready to own the full scope: from data pipelines and BI dashboards to HubSpot processes and leadership insights.
Strong English proficiency (written and spoken); Polish not required.
Hands-on expertise with Power BI or similar, dbt, SQL, HubSpot, and Intercom, managing both technical setup and business usage.
Ability to translate data into action - spotting risks, surfacing opportunities, and delivering clarity across teams.
Proactive and curious approach, with a drive to dig deep into problems, explore how things work, and uncover root causes behind data and process issues.
