HVAC Engineer (BIM)

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Our requirements:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D HVAC system models using Autodesk Revit based on provided engineering inputs and project guidelines. The role does not involve design responsibilities;

• Model HVAC systems for various types of projects while ensuring compliance with local codes, BIM standards, and client requirements;

• Coordinate HVAC models with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines to ensure model consistency;

• Participate in clash detection and coordination processes within the BIM environment;

• Maintain and update BIM models throughout project development stages;

• Support BIM workflows, standards, templates, and quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC BIM modeling or similar position. We are looking for both professionals experienced in the full HVAC system design process and candidates specialized ventilation system;

• Strong technical proficiency in Autodesk Revit and HVAC BIM modeling;

• Familiarity with BIM standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 and BS 1192;

• Understanding of construction documentation and multidisciplinary coordination processes;

• Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
