Teleperformance is looking for an English-Polish Interpreter

Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive interpreting,
• Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
• Answer requests and interpret real-time video calls, via a dedicated application.

Qualifications:

• English AND Polish on the C1, C2 or native level- must have,
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
• Being able to empathize with the caller,
• You live in Poland and are legally authorized to work in the country,
• Have a stable cable internet connection and a calm environment to be able to work remotely from home,
• Full-time availability (8-hour shifts; project works Monday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.),
• Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls.
