As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

Currently we are searching for a General Ledger Accountant to support our German Accounting Team. At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid from the office in Katowice.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and review of financial statements and accounts reconciliation
Prepare and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / HGB / IFRS: focus on fixed and financial assets, equity, accruals and provisions, shareholders and external loans
Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts monthly
Assist in the month-end and year-end close
Preparation of monthly or quarterly VAT files
Analyze, validate and upload financial data (e.g. tenant accounting)
Responsibility for the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports according to HGB or IFRS in close cooperation with the team management and the team
Creation of ad hoc reports
Collaborate and communicate with customers, other departments and team members, banks, auditors, lawyers, investment managers or other stakeholders
Managing own deliveries and deadlines
Monitoring of payment transactions
Key Requirements
University degree in finance/accounting or comparable training in accounting preferred
3+ years of accounting experience in general ledger, investment or corporate accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and accrued based accounting
Fluent English, German B1 or willingness to learn this language with the provision to achieve at least A2 level within 12 months.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
