These platforms include Invia.cz, travelplanet.pl, which offers a wide range of summer and winter tours; Ab-in-den-Urlaub.de, which provides last-minute trips, vacation packages, apartments, flights, rental cars, and a platform that provides flight offers from over 550 airlines; and several others, each specializing in various facets of travel and accommodation.

Join the SEO team at ab in den urlaub – one of the largest travel platforms in the DACH region, visited by millions of users monthly. We’re looking for a Technical SEO Specialist who not only knows the basics of technical SEO, but can independently diagnose, test, and implement solutions in a large, complex technical environment.

✨ In this role, you will:

🛠️ Coordinate and implement recommendations from technical audits – in cooperation with SEO, IT, Product, and DevOps teams.

🔍 Monitor and optimize crawl budget, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site performance, and URL structures.

⚙️ Identify issues (e.g., authorization errors, session parameters, duplication, 404/500 errors) and propose concrete solutions.

🧩 Support migrations, deployments, and regression SEO tests in pre-production environments.

📊 Analyze server logs, data from GSC, GA4, and crawling tools – and translate this data into clear technical recommendations.

🤝 Collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners to plan the SEO roadmap and implement technical improvements.

💬 Document technical requirements and communicate SEO needs in an understandable way for engineering teams.

👤 We are looking for someone who:

📈 Has at least 3–5 years of experience in Technical SEO, preferably with large sites (>100,000 URLs).

🧠 Thinks analytically and in terms of cause and effect, able to solve problems even with limited data.

💡 Doesn’t wait for ready-made instructions – seeks solutions, tests, and proposes improvements proactively.

🧭 Has an excellent understanding of indexing, crawling, canonicalization, and information architecture.

💻 Has a solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; knowledge of PHP or Python (for crawl automations) is a significant plus.

🧰 Is comfortable using tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Log File Analyzer, GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, and knows automated SEO testing processes before deployment

🗣️ Has very good English skills (min. B2+, preferably C1) – both spoken and written, especially for technical communication.

🌍 Knowledge of German and an interest in the travel industry are a plus.
