Assembly Department Manager

Your responsibilities

• Organization and management of the production process
• Supervision over production efficiency, realization of assumed goals of production
• Initiating and conducting activities to improve the production process
• Planning and supervising tasks performed in the Production plan in terms of timeliness, quality of execution, rational use materials, equipment and human resources, proper circulation documents and information, compliance with procedures
• Ensuring a trouble-free production process and supervising proper health and safety conditions
• Managing a subordinate team
• Responsibility for product quality and quality system development
• Participation in the production transfer process from Germany to Poland
• Launching production of new products
• Reporting to the Production Manager

Our requirements

• Technical education proofed by Master of Technical Science and/or engineer diploma (Manufacturing engineering)
• Several years of experience on similar position within production industry
• Proactive participation in creating the culture of the organization
• Strong leadership, organization, and project management skills
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S, Lean, Continuous Improvement tools & systems
• Ensure production process in accordance with company quality standards including ISO and Lean Management
• Initiate CAPEX investment projects concerning the production department and submit ideas for process improvement and optimization
• Communicative knowledge of English (German - nice to have)
• Experience in using SAP or other ERP system
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Team spirit
