3D Visualisation Design Lead

We are looking for a 3D Visualisation Design Lead who will be responsible for developing and enhancing product visualizations in Tylko’s digital solutions (including our configurator). This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, user empathy, and a forward-thinking vision for the future of digital visualizations.

About Product Department

Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise from digital designers and software developers to wood technologists and industrial and interior designers. The department is divided into cross-functional product teams, combining expertise in product management, design and engineering to drive innovation and deliver integrated products. The department is responsible for delivering business results through the development and management of the product portfolio, supporting company-level activities, and coordinating the development of integrated physical and digital products, ensuring a consistent user experience.

As a key team member, the Design Lead will drive innovations that transform the user experience and influence purchasing decisions by creating high-quality 3D visualizations that engage, inspire, and build trust in our products at every stage of the buying process. It is essential that these visualizations highlight the products' functionality and aesthetics in realistic or stylized environments, while optimizing models for efficient rendering without compromising quality.

Once you join our team, you will be responsible for:

Understanding the user and their needs:

• Researching user challenges in visualizing products in real-world contexts.
• Gathering insights through research, interviews, and testing to create visualizations that meet user needs.

Creating contextual visualizations:

• Designing realistic product visualizations in real-life settings, focusing on details like lighting, angles, and materials.
• Addressing 3D visualization nuances that help users make purchasing decisions.

Optimizing the purchasing process:

• Designing visual experiences that guide users through product configuration and purchase.
• Creating intuitive and engaging solutions that help users understand the product and its features.

3D animations for engagement:

• Using 3D animation to enhance user engagement during configuration (e.g., shape, texture, or layout changes).
• Balancing aesthetics and functionality to enrich the user experience.

Managing the entire visualization process:

• Ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
• Coordination of cooperation with designers, developers, and UX researchers

Job requirements

3D Design and Digital Visualizations:

• Knowledge of rendering, lighting, camera angles, and materials for product visualization.

• Experience in creating visualizations in specific contexts (e.g., interiors, functional spaces).

3D Animation:

• Ability to create product animations that enhance engagement and support configuration understanding.

Technologies and Tools:

• Proficient in 3D visualization and animation tools (e.g., Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, 3ds Max).

Fluent Polish and good command of English

Working from our Warsaw office at least 3 days a week

It would be an additional plus if you have:

UX Processes:

• Experience in designing user experiences and guiding users through the purchasing process using visualizations.

User Research:

• Skills in conducting user research, gathering feedback, and applying it to the design process.

Leadership:

• Ability to coordinate teams, manage processes, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Technologies and Tools:

• Familiar with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
