Country Manager - Ukraine (interim)

The Country Manager for Ukraine role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on cities in Ukraine by working on cross-functional projects to understand how to grow our driver base, improve our customer experience and ensure that we allocate resourcing appropriately to ensure we move the needle on key KPIs. This role requires an all-rounder - someone who can be analytical with strong interpersonal skills, and both strategic and operational. This is an Interim role for 12 months (with potential extension)

What You'll Do:

• Drive dynamic yet sustainable growth of Uber in Ukraine by defining and executing growth strategy

• Manage our top-line and bottom-line KPIs

• Drive strategic projects for Ukraine market

• Maintain relationship with key Fleet Partners on the market

• Partner with other operations and function teams to ensure country growth needs are met

• Develop overall supply channels; optimise driver and partner acquisition and conversion, both operationally and in terms of spend efficiency

• Ensure service affordability, reliability and safety in all cities we operate in

• Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes

• Configure products and processes to the Ukrainian market context in coordination with Central Operations and the marketplace team

• Ensure high driver and partner compliance standards

• Maintain performance dashboards, tracking your and your KPIs, model out opportunities and present findings to support decision-making by leadership

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferably in operations, supply chain, advanced project management, consulting, banking or a tech company

• Solid executional ability - You are able to plan and deliver new initiatives and have a track record of delivering projects on spec and on time

• Data-driven approach to making decisions and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking

• Ability to build relationships, work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders

• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to run a team of driver-partner engagement specialists

• High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly. Able to pivot quickly from long-term thinking to immediate action

• English professional working proficiency, SQL is a plus
