💼 Full-time, B2B Contract
At Unikorns we focus on creating designs that combine creativity with technology to help brands stand out. We work with startups taking their first steps and with growing businesses ready to scale up. Our philosophy is simple: design is not just about making things look good, it is about solving problems and moving our clients’ goals forward.
We're seeking a Project Manager with a strong foundation in planning, resource & cost management, risks and crisis management. As part of our team, you'll work closely with designers, developers, and other managers, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with our creative standards and company culture.
You will manage from 2 to 5 projects simultaneously depending on complexity.
-
Plan, execute, adjust: Launch projects, manage people resources and budgets, identify risks and prevent their escalation.
-
Be a leader: Be independent without step-by-step instructions, confidently lead cross-functional teams from 4 to 12 members, mitigate internal and external conflicts, lead client stakeholders toward common success.
-
Think analytically: Balance shot and long-term goals, address problems with broad business context in mind, effectively translate business requirements into actionable technical assignments.
-
Be proficient in soft skills: Anticipate weak communication impact on project, participate and resolve conflicts and escalations, adapt to changes and keeping project on the right track, educate clients on our practices and work.
-
Confidently use our tools: Notion for project management, Slack for communication, GSuite for organization of assets and budgets, Figma for design. And most important, don’t cultivate overengineering culture with tools.
-
Advanced in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall: We don’t have a particular framework and methodology in the company, but your advanced knowledge in them can help you lead projects more effectively from processes and procedures perspective.
-
Experience: At least 2 years in a project manager role within an agency or similar setting, focused on digital and graphic design, and websites development.
-
Languages: Professional in both English and Polish for clear client and team communication.
- Know (or can easily learn) Webflow, Storyblok CMS, Prismic CMS, etc. to better understand the development workflow and artifacts.
- Take a proactive approach to any task: you dig up the problem, solve it yourself, or find someone to help you.
- Know Figma at the PM level: you can assemble a presentation from a template or explain the idea to the designer schematically.
- Love and understand design.
- Avoid repeating failures.
- Improve your daily work by updating current processes and adding the missing ones.
- Keep your cool in times of stress and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Adapt seamlessly to dynamic settings and evolving workflows without being disarmed.
- Don’t practice micro-management. It is not appreciated in our company.
- Enjoy talking about the client's needs and you can ask qualified questions to understand the client’s business and goals.
- Take the responsibility for process and results of the work.
- Team-centric player, advocating for collaborative, objective, and respectful dialogue.
- Strong and proactive communicator, both written and verbal.
- Feel comfortable with giving feedback and justifying it, using facts and arguments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends with a relentless sense of curiosity.
