Project Manager for Strategic Business Models (UNIQA Insurance Group)
Job description:
development and implementation of our group-wide business strategy
independent management of cross-functional, strategically relevant projects
Work in diverse corporate projects with high strategic relevance (such as the transformation and optimization of the product portfolio or the business and IT transformation of UNIQA INT)
proactive identification of improvement potential and implementation of transformation strategies
further development of our internal capabilities using your strategy consulting toolkit
learning and growing in a strong team of highly motivated former consultants
developing future business models – analyzing industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to propose and implement innovative business models for sustainable growth
implementation and roll out of the future business model – overseeing the implementation of the designed target operating model
monitoring the independent channels performance – overseeing the performance of brokerages, online aggregators and other independent distribution channels to drive revenue and efficiency
data-driven strategy and decision making – utilizing data analysis to assess the growth opportunities, market potential and design the best operating business models
international exposure and collaboration across functions – working closely with internal teams to develop vertical strategies and ensure seamless execution
Requirements:
excellent degree from a leading university or business school
at least Bachelor Degree in Business or a comparable field of study
at least two years of professional experience in strategy consulting, management consultancy, M&A sector, or corporate strategy
experience in an international environment or in working with international teams is an advantage
proven experience in insurance, fintech, financial services with focus on distribution, strategy or partnerships topics
strong analytical skills with a passion for data-driven decision making, problem-solving and strategy understanding
excellent relationship management skills to build and nurture external partnerships
ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and drive change
strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies
proactive and entrepreneurial person, thriving in ambiguity, taking ownership and driving impactful change in a complex international environment
confident presentation at expert and top management levels
ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, ownership and initiative
high level of commitment and independence, as well as self-motivation for further development
ability to recognize complex relationships and present them in a simplified manner
advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
willingness to travel abroad at least once per quarter
fluent English skills
