Supplier Quality Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they understand and meet quality requirements
• Conduct supplier quality audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Work with suppliers to develop quality improvement plans and monitor progress
• Analyze and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Ensure that suppliers comply with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and other quality requirements
• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions and documentation
• Develop and implement receiving inspection plans for materials and products procured from suppliers

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or process control (including 4+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering)
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• In-depth knowledge of inspection methods and testing procedures
• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF, AS9100
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical parts and related manufacturing processes
• In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ASME Y14.5 standards
• Fluent written and spoken English and Polish (required C1 or C2 level)
