Category Manager (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing strategies for assigned purchasing categories;

• Managing and developing procurement categories related to e-mobility and energy storage systems;

• Conducting supplier market analysis, identifying new business partners, and building long-term relationships with key suppliers;

• Collaborating with technical departments, production, and R&D teams to develop and optimize category portfolios;

• Driving cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, supply continuity, and sustainability standards;

• Analyzing procurement data and recommending actions that support the organization’s business efficiency.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in category management or strategic procurement within the industrial, energy, e-mobility, or related sectors;

• University degree, preferably in engineering, technical studies, or economics;

• Proven experience in cooperation with international suppliers and conducting business negotiations;

• Very good command of English (minimum B2/C1 level); additional foreign languages will be considered an advantage;

• Ability to develop category strategies and apply an analytical approach to procurement processes;

• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;

• Ability to work effectively in a project-based environment and across cross-functional teams;

• Self-driven, proactive mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills.
